Supporting SEND in the Wider Curriculum

At Oakfield Community Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), can fully access and thrive within our wider curriculum. We understand that pupils learn at different rates and may require tailored support to succeed.

Our approach to curriculum adaptation is rooted in high expectations for all children. We do not lower our ambitions but instead adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet individual needs. This includes breaking down complex content into manageable steps, providing additional practice, and using technology and specialist support where needed.
