Year Group Overviews

Our curriculum overviews outline the content and key area of learning to be taught across each term in every year group. At Oakfield, we appreciate that each year may be different and therefore planning terms are flexible and may be adapted to suit the needs of the learners. This may mean some classes may spend longer or shorter time on a concept depending on the understanding of vast majority of the class. Some blocks may be repositioned to prioritise certain aspects of learning based on the current needs of the class. Some experiences may also be changed according to availability, pupose and costs but we will always prioritise a wide range of external and internal visits to enhance the learning journey of our pupils.
